Overview
The PLT288 is an Active Optical Cable (AOC) that uses an optical-fiber conductor to carry 4K ultra-high-definition audio and video signals at a maximum rate of 18Gbps.
Because it transmits light rather than electricity, the optical conductor effectively resists external electromagnetic interference and keeps the signal stable over very long runs of up to 100 meters.
Built to the HDMI 4K / HDMI 2.0 standard, it supports 4K@60Hz 4:4:4 and HDR. A zinc-alloy housing and 24K gold-plated connectors complete a plug-and-play, one-way transmission design.
